BOARD AND APPOINTS TIM FROUDE, P.GEO
Belmont Resources Inc. (“BEA”) (the “Company”)
is pleased to announce the formation of a new Advisory Board
and the appointment of Mr. Timothy D. Froude, P. Geo to the
Company’s advisory board effective immediately. Mr.
Froude has 20 years experience in the mining industry, and
was directly responsible for the acquisition and development
of the Moran Lake Uranium project located in the Central Mineral
Belt of Newfoundland. Mr. Froude has held a number of senior
positions with public companies including Senior V.P. Exploration
for Crosshair Exploration and Mining (CXX on TSX.V), Cornerstone
Resources Inc. (CGP on TSX.V), and currently is a director
of the Newfoundland and Labrador Chamber of Mineral Resources.
Mr. Froude will provide strategic advice to Belmont on the
exploration and development of its portfolio of uranium projects
located in Northern Saskatchewan and Labrador, and may be
engaged by the Company as a consultant from time to time.
Mr. Froude also is an associate fellow of the Geological
Association of Canada (GAC), a member of the Association of
Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland (APEGN)
and a member of the Society of Economic Geologists. The Company
is very pleased to have someone of Mr. Froude’s expertise
join its team, and looks forward to continued development
of its uranium projects.
