| MONTORO-BELMONT ORBIT
LAKE URANIUM PROJECT, SASKATCHEWAN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
International Montoro Resources Inc. (“IMT”)
and Belmont Resources Inc. (“BEA”) are pleased
to announce they have received a preliminary report outlining
development recommendations for its Orbit Uranium Project
located 10 km west of Uranium City, Saskatchewan. This property
consists of three claims totaling 11,000 ha, which lie adjacent
to the Crackingstone Uranium Project currently being developed
by the Companies. These claims were staked after completion
of the NI 43-101 report for the Companies Crackingstone Uranium
Project, and were subject to a combined airborne and magnetic
survey completed by the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC)
and Saskatchewan Energy and Mines (SGS). A total of 12 uranium
showings are documented on this property from previous exploratory
work completed from 1948 to 1959, with uranium values ranging
from 0.1% to 3.43%. A full description of previous exploration
will be available on the company web site in the coming weeks.
The property contains several radiometric anomaly trends
that have received no previous exploration for uranium. The
property warrants an airborne radiometric, magnetic and electromagnetic
survey with closer line spacing than the GSC-SGS survey. The
radiometric anomalies will be systematically prospected to
confirm the cause of the previously tested and untested radiometric
anomalies. Additional information regarding the initiation
of this exploration program will be released when commencing.
The property consisting of three claims numbered S-110098,
S-110099 and S-110100 totaling about 11,000 ha, is located
approximately 10 km west of Uranium City. The property is
accessible by a gravel-based road and an old tote road starting
from the Crackingstone property (claim # S 108022) and extending
northwest and north through claims numbered S-110098 and S-110100.
The south boundary of claim S-110098 is located along the
north shore of Lake Athabasca. This part of the property can
be accessed by boat from Bushell landing located at Bushell
Inlet, 10 km SW of Uranium City. A hydro power line crosses
diagonally northwest through claim # S-110098 and claim #
S-108022 of the Crackingstone property.
Since the completion of this staking the Companies have seen
an increase of exploration activity in the northwest area
of the Athabasca Basin with announcements by JNR (“JNN”)
completing an airborne electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical
survey on their 10,655 ha. Crackingstone project, and similar
programs by CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. (“CVV”) adjacent
to the south boundary of Orbit and Cameco Corp. (“CCO”),
the world’s largest uranium producer, holding a block
of claims immediately to the west of the Orbit claim block.
The historical results reported in this press release
are considered relevant but do not comply with NI 43-101 standards
and should not be relied upon as the Company has not yet completed
exploration work to verify the data.
This news release was reviewed and approved for technical
disclosure by Raymond A. Bernatchez, P.Eng., Consulting Geologist
