BELMONT CLARIFIES ONTARIO SECURITIES COMMISSION NOTICE

Belmont Resources Inc. (TSX-V: BEA) wishes to clarify the following Notice.

The Company on May 31,2007 has filed its Annual Audited Financial Statements, Management Discussion & Analysis, and certifications required by Multilateral Instrument 52-109 -Certification of Disclosure in Issuers’ Annual and Interim filings (MI 52-109) for the year-ended January 31,2007 within the 120 days of its year end, as required by the Securities Act. The Company has also paid the filing fees as required by the Act or regulations. This information can we reviewed on SEDAR and through the Company’s website at www.belmontresources.com

The Company has contacted the Ontario Securities Commission and TSX regulatory personnel and requested that the Delinquent Notice be removed. The problem appears that the Notice is linked to a former CDNX Symbol: BEA and a Company- Bearcat Explorations Ltd. (BEA.H-V) that was not officially cease-treaded. This Company is not related in any way to Belmont Resources Inc.
