Montoro-Belmont J.V. Completes Drilling
Program at Red Lake Property
International Montoro Resources Inc. (“IMT”)
and Belmont Resources Inc. (BEA”) (Montoro-Belmont JV)
have completed a 930 metre, 6-hole diamond drilling program
on their 30 unit property located in Bateman and Shaver Twp.
within the Red Lake Gold Belt.
The objective of the program was to drill test a number of
structures interpreted by Excalibur International Consultants
Ltd. from a 2004 combined VLF and magnetic survey.
The drilling program was successful in intersecting zones
of sulphide mineralization and quartz veining contained within
altered mafic volcanic and intermediate to felsic intrusive
rocks. The quartz veining was mineralized with pyrite, pyrrhotite
and magnetite. Bedded sulphide (pyrrhotite chalcopyrite and
pyrite) mineralization was encountered in the altered mafic
volcanic rocks. A wide zone of weakly disseminated sulphide
and magnetite mineralization was intersected in holes BSL-6.
Sampling, assaying and quality control core is split using
diamond saws, with one-half sent to Accurassay Laboratories
in Thunder Bay for preparation and analysis, the other half
has been moved from the site and stored at the Ministry of
Northern Ontario Mine’s (“MNDM”) core library
in Red Lake. The results of these assays are pending.
Mr. Raymond A. Bernatchez, P.Eng. is the Companies qualified
person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 on the Shaver
Twp. – Red Lake project. The drilling program, logging,
and sampling was conducted under Mr. Bernatchez’s supervision.
All results reported herein were reviewed and verified by
Mr. Bernatchez.
