BEATTY TWP. - TIMMINS/LARDER LAKE MINING DIVISION - ONTARIO

Hussey Geophysics Inc. of Timmins, Ontario has been contracted to commence early next week the initial program on Belmont's western claim block of its 4 claim (272 hectare) gold prospects. The area approx. 80 km ENE from the city of Timmins has seen a new resurgence in gold exploration due to recent discoveries in Munroe Township, which adjoins Beatty to the east, and to the recent increase in the price of gold.

Recent exploration activity by Tom Exploration immediately to the southeast and on strike with Belmont's claims has resulted in the discovery of 10 new gold occurrences over a 6 km strike length. Values for grab samples from these occurrences range from 2.49 to an impressive 2500 g/t. Loubel Exploration Inc. has also acquired 22 claims in Munro/Beatty townships adjacent to Tom Explorations J-Zone discovery on the Lalonde gold property and is expecting to soon begin its exploration activities.

The initial Belmont program will consist of line cuttings and ground geophysical (magnetic, VLF-em and Max-Min II electromagnetic) surveys.
