DRILLING ON JAMES BAY LOWLANDS – TOLMIE TWP – DIAMOND PROSPECT

Further to our News Release of March 10/03, Belmont has contracted, Norex Drilling Limited of Porcupine, Ontario to drill its Tolmie diamond prospect. Drilling is expected to commence as early as April 29, 2003.

In addition, Belmont has received a recommended program to begin on its nearby Tolmie II property. The preliminary program will be similar to Tolmie with line cutting, ground geophysical magnetic surveying (approx 10.5 km) and VLF electromagnetic surveying/approx. 10.0 km). Belmont holds four other claim blocks in the vicinity in Menapia, Pinard, Avon and Bourassa Townships and has received priority recommendations as to which they will explore after Tolmie II.
